I absolutely love promoting eco-friendly products on my blog. Recently,
Jules Lavallee, one of the founders of ThinkEco² got in touch with me and shared how their products are being made.
Brian Behncke, Owner of Briven Construction in San Diego and Jules Lavallee, Marketer from Boston are Founders of ThinkEco². Brian noticed a lot of wood going to waste from his job sites, particularly the fencing jobs. The wood from old fences has an aged, weathered, and rustic look. He wanted to do something about it, so he came up with the idea of using the scrap wood to build fun and original products. Brian dissembles the unpainted fence panels and re-mills the sides of each fence board so they are straight. He then planes down both sides of each board to clean it up and get the desired thickness. Then he cuts the pieces to make the products.
